Since GDPR took effect, much of the registration data that brand owners once used to identify infringers has been redacted. New rules are now pulling the other way: the EU NIS2 directive requires Member States to oblige TLD registries and registrars to collect and maintain accurate registration data and to give lawful access to those who need it, although national implementation is still uneven.

Experts Marcus Whitfield and Daniel Hartley share what these changes mean for enforcement processes, and how to keep investigations moving when data is incomplete.

During this webinar, you will learn about:

  • How NIS2 changes the collection of registration data and who can access it
  • How RDAP and ICANN's Registration Data Request Service work in practice
  • Practical enforcement steps when registrant data is redacted
